Architectural Intern
During my summer internship, I successfully contributed to various projects, enhancing my skills in design and project management. I played a pivotal role in the design of a new PreK-12 school, including helping with space planning, exterior facade design, and assisting in meetings with over 30 community members. Paired with another architectural intern, I managed and collaborated on an intern design project, where we developed a comprehensive design for an open site and showcased our ideas to a group of 10+ architects and business developers. Additionally, I managed two secure entrance projects, conducting site research, developing the design from SD’s to CD’s, and maintaining communication with the team. I also led a team of interns in developing a recruitment strategy that I presented to over 150 company members. Through collaboration with architects, engineers, and community members, I honed my ability to communicate effectively and deliver innovative design solutions, further solidifying my confidence and passion for architecture and design. I had a memorable experience at ISG, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to take on increased responsibility during my internship this summer.
