These tasks consisted of researching on companies in a variety of industry sectors, updating the central database of contacts, as well as assisting with the events of the organisation. Performing these tasks gave me a greater appreciation of the role of networking in marketing generally, but also in terms of governmental approaches to marketing a nation within the global economy.
