Hello! I am a recent graduate from Western Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in Integrated Health Science and Psychology. I aspire to work in the field of allied health care and want to make a positive change in people's lives through Occupational Therapy. When I attend Occupational Therapy school I have a special interest in Mental Health, Low vision therapy, and cognitive health. During my time at Western Carolina University, I actively engaged with the campus community through participation in The Brinson Honors College, The Pre-Professional Club, and The Center for Career and Professional Development. These experiences not only enriched my understanding of what it means to be involved in the community but have also provided me with valuable opportunities to collaborate with peers and professionals alike.Ultimately, my goal is to leverage my education, experiences, and passion for occupational therapy to become a compassionate and effective occupational therapist. I aspire to empower individuals of all ages and abilities to live fulfilling lives and overcome the challenges they face through tailored interventions and holistic care.
