Worked as a contractor for NOAA repairing and installing water level sensors on the East Coast. Worked involved monitoring these sensors and trouble shooting if they were not communicating properly. Worked on current, water level, meteorological and water quality sensors in the field and in the lab. I also completed field work in surveying and boat operations.

Involved in research consisting of the building of a floating aquaculture site named "Aquafort," off the coast of New Hampshire. I am mainly responsible for determining methods in which shellfish, trout and kelp grow best in an open ocean environment. Another key point of the project was designing aquaculture lining which would not interfere with marine life in the area.

Assisted a pHd candidate in researching methods to clean up oil that has sunk to the seafloor. Research involved studying boundary conditions of flowing water at different velocities and with different substrate compositions replicating the seafloor. This data was submitted to NOAA to help guide further studies in this field.
