About Olivia Matuch

I am in my sixth year teaching Third Grade students. I have learned so much on this journey in education and now have a more depth understanding on developing Curriculum and Instruction. I have experience teaching in Ireland when studying abroad during my time at Baldwin Wallace University. In my current school district, I have started a Yoga Club to lead the students at my school on a path of mindfulness and strategies they can carry with them on their academic journey. I am a member of our building PBIS committee that has created a system of expectations and logical consequences that are consistent across our building to make them clear for students. I have goals to continue to support my students on their academic journey to success in the classroom by designing lessons that meet learning objectives, are rigorous, unique, and engaging. I have been an Accomplished Teacher that puts her student's first and designs lessons that are engaging and fulfilling to support and challenge my students' abilities to meet the Third Grade Common Core State Standards.
