I attended the Level 2 and Level 3 all dayWilson Fundations trainings, actively assisted and participated in the Sunrise Stretch Club on Thursday mornings, attended all Faculty Meetings collaborating with the staff members at Pine on the 10 Schlechty Design Qualities furthering my knowledge how to improve my teaching practice and always focus on one’s "WHO" in education, and attended after school volunteer meetings for the Inquiry-Based Learning Team Sessions to practice how I can help create an environment of curiosity and diverse thinking in my classroom with my students. I practiced numerous co-teaching opportunities, planned engaging lessons for my own small groups, practiced extensive data collection, and parent communication through conferences and Class Dojo. I even put together our Title 1 Parent Informational Night, and designed several Individualized Progress Reports for my Fundations group of third grade students.I then applied and accepted a position as a full-time Third Grade Teacher. I set up my own classroom and began my first official year teaching online during Covid. We taught online and then eventually returned to in person learning in a Hybrid format, partially in person and partially online. I prepared a number of lessons both online and in person and provided a number of experiences for my students. I started teaching a Yoga Club during this time and created a lot of unique learning experiences for my students and their diverse needs. I also was in charge of keeping the studio clean and organized, through vacuuming, windex, cleaning the floors, etc. I was entrusted to perform data entry of the confidential student information and handling the deposit records. I worked as an assistant teacher for infants through sixth graders with a primary focus working with Preschool students. I created engaging activities and stimulating curriculum through active learning to help students reach success. I learned a great deal of Social and Emotional Learning techniques and stayed calm under pressure with numerous behavioral challenges.
