Olivia Mortensen is the owner and lead designer of Mortensen Designs. She and her team help clients solve business challenges through design solutions like brand identity, app design, websites, marketing materials, and more.Above all else, Olivia loves thinking through strategic paths forward with ambitious entrepreneurs, fast-paced startups, and growing small businesses. And then, of course, bringing designs to life in ways that demonstrate the power of good design on a business’ success. Olivia fell in love with graphic design first through her studies at James Madison University and then through her work as a graphic designer for companies in various industries, including management consulting and SaaS.In 2019, Olivia founded Mortensen Designs, a strategic design studio that works with small businesses and startups. The majority of Olivia’s clients have been with her for 5+ years and have hired Mortensen Designs for more than one project – a testament to her team’s ability to make a difference for their businesses.Olivia has an insatiable curiosity and is always thinking about how any particular design will be experienced. She takes inspiration from her everyday experiences – hailing from Virginia, Olivia now lives and works, with intention, from multiple cities around the U.S. each year. She loves meeting new people, immersing herself in regional cultures, exploring neighborhoods, and observing architectural details that are unique to the various cities she calls home.
