• Provided M&E support for WfWIs’s social and economic empowerment programs.• Conducted qualitative data analysis for focus groups and interviews to evaluate community attitudes about violence against women in Afghanistan, Nigeria and the DRC.

•Managed clinical and community health outreach events to serve the East African immigrant and refugee community in Minneapolis, each reaching 50-300 people.• Managed the opening of a satellite school-based health clinic for a local high school serving 250 multilingual refugee and immigrant students.• Designed and led a series of culturally sensitive nutrition and healthy cooking classes for 30 patients at risk of diabetes and hypertension with the support of Somali and Oromo translators.• Expanded partnerships and kickstarted initiatives to address food insecurity for patients including cultural inclusive food prescription boxes

• Research Assistant for the Community-Engaged Nutrition Research (CENTIR) Group. • Assisted with the 2015 Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) program in Tanzania. Worked alongside nutrition experts from five leading Tanzanian health institutions and researchers at Cornell University to collaborate and report on strategies for scaling up intersectional nutrition action at the district, ward, and village levels in Tanzania.

• Conducted research with 15 medical professionals at KCMC and developed and presented a policy case study on cervical cancer and access to the HPV vaccine in the Moshi area.•Developed a cross-cultural nutrition and healthy eating class for a group of 40 students at Kusirye-U Primary School and a local elementary school in the U.S.

• Partnered with Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Food Bank of the Southern Tier to develop and implement a culturally sensitive healthy eating and nutrition curriculum in schools for students ages 8-11.
