I am a full-stack developer who independently builds bespoke applications for Fixed Income portfolio managers in a variety of fields including High Yield, Emerging Markets, Global Bond and Global Credit. This role involves development across the full app lifecycle from gathering requirements, model building, database development, data visualisation, UI design to testing, troubleshooting and providing app support post-release. Primary technologies used are Python, SQL, Javascript, AWS, Jenkins.I am also the project manager to a team of 6 people. As part of my UCL individual project, I am undertaking a software engineering project in partnership with Microsoft and Great Ormond Street Hospital. The aim of the application is to apply mixed reality to advance the education of trainee medical doctors. Hardware includes Microsoft HoloLens and Vuzix m100 smart glasses.

As part of my App Design module at UCL, I led a team in building a web application for AMRC. Roles included client liaison, task delegation, PHP and JavaScript programming, and front-end design using HTML and CSS.

I worked alongside Durham University Senior Advanced Computing Research Fellow, Dr. Ibad Kureshi, to build a website database for archaeologists in war-torn or other at-risk archaeological sites. Coding languages used included HTML/CSS, PHP and SQL.

Code First: Girls aims to reduce the gender imbalance in technology by hosting coding courses to women, including female university students. My roles as Campus Ambassador for CF:G Durham include:- Recruiting participants for the CF:G Durham courses through marketing and liaising with university network connections- Organising logistical arrangements for the course, such as booking the room and contacting instructors- Liaising with instructors, Code First: Girls headquarters and participants- Organising socials for the participants- Collecting participant's course feedbackI also assisted in the running of the Code First: Girls Annual Conference at Twitter HQ in London in November 2016.I participated in the CF: G Beginners HTML/CSS Web Development course where I gained fundamental knowledge in HTML, CSS, GitHub, Bootstrap, JavaScript and jQuery.

nexpaq is a tech start-up which creates modular IoT smartphone cases.As a marketing intern, my roles included: - Designing landing pages and marketing strategies, all of which involved hypothesis testing and validation through digital marketing tools- Statistically analysing Facebook advert campaign results. I interpreted large amounts of data and decided whether campaign elements needed to be altered (and if so, what elements) to generate more traffic - Beta testing. I was the first person to test the beta, and so I reviewed user experience, and how this would fit in with today’s technological market- I wrote an article on the past, present, and future of technology, with a particular focus on how the Internet of Things will change our everyday livesDuring this internship, I learnt about the diversity and the vast growth potential of technology. I am particularly interested in how IoT and wearable technology will develop over the years to come.
