As the Transitional Age Youth (TAY) Clinician at The Prestonsburg Clubhouse Youth Drop-In Center, I am passionate about supporting young people through some of the most critical phases of their lives. With a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Human Diversity, I bring a deep understanding of mental health and cultural competency to my work, ensuring that every young person I work with feels seen, heard, and supported.Currently pursuing my M.A. in Education with a focus on K-12 School Counseling at The University of the Cumberlands, I am committed to expanding my skills to better advocate for youth in educational settings. My work is driven by a passion for mental health advocacy, and I take pride in fostering a safe, inclusive environment where young people can thrive.As a certified Youth Mental Health First Aid and ASIST provider, I am equipped with the tools to respond effectively to mental health crises, providing life-saving interventions and ongoing support. I am also an active member of The Kentucky Counseling Association, continuously learning and staying informed on best practices in youth mental health.In every role I take on, I strive to be a compassionate and dedicated team member. My commitment to the TAY population, combined with my ongoing professional development, ensures that I bring both expertise and empathy to my work every day.
