I’m a current student from England at Elon University, pursuing a degree in Strategic Communications with a minor in French. I’m also proud to be a Communications Fellow, a selective four-year scholarship programme that has given me incredible opportunities to deepen my skills in the field of communications.With a passion for marketing in the fashion industry, I have my sights set on working in London or Paris. I'm eager to improve my French and take advantage of every opportunity to travel and learn from different cultures. Having moved across the world for my education, I’ve gained a global perspective that has allowed me to connect with and understand people from diverse backgrounds. This international experience is something I’m most proud of, as it’s taught me independence, adaptability, and the importance of embracing different viewpoints.At Elon, I’ve had the privilege of serving in leadership roles that have shaped me both as a communicator and a leader. As a Communications Fellow, I’ve been immersed in real-world projects that hone my strategic thinking. In addition to communications and fashion, I have a strong passion for science. My role as a Science Teaching Assistant tested my ability to guide and mentor students, many of whom were older than me, while building confidence in my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Additionally, as House Manager for my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, I’ve taken on the responsibility of managing a house full of friends, resolving conflicts, and handling crises, which has helped me develop skills in crisis management, teamwork, and effective communication.I’m passionate about the fashion industry and plan to fully leverage Elon’s study abroad programme to build connections in fashion capitals like London and Paris. I intend to study abroad for over six months in each city, during which I aim to complete two internships in fashion and communications/marketing. I’m eager to explore in-house marketing roles for major fashion brands while remaining open to gaining experience in PR agencies to broaden my exposure to various industries. After graduating from Elon, I aspire to pursue a master’s degree in Paris, further solidifying my expertise in this dynamic field.Overall, I’m someone who thrives on new challenges and is always seeking opportunities to grow. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me, and I’m ready to learn from every opportunity along the way.
