About Olivia Ruffner
I graduated from the University at Buffalo in May 2023 with my BS in Exercise Science. I am currently employed as an exercise physiologist at Trilogy Wellness and Physical Therapy where I work with physical therapists to transition their patients and new gym members back to a safe and healthy lifestyle through exercise. I completed 140 hours of internship experience with the UB Women's Division I Volleyball team athletic trainer which confirmed my passion for athletic training. During my internship I learned multiple rehabilitation techniques such as cupping, taping, and muscle stimulation. I led various rehabilitation sessions, performed injury evaluations, ran physicals, and helped maintain day-to-day responsibilities such as preparing the practice cart and packing the team's travel kit.I currently am a gymnastics coach of 6 years that loves working with people and have many years of experience of effective communication. I enjoy training and seeing progress in individuals and look forward to the future of athletic healthcare.
