The General Manager – Participants is responsible for overseeing the relationships with allparticipants and their families. Flying Fox provides social opportunities to people with a disability. Since 2014, Flying Fox has provided opportunities for over 250 young people with a disability, supported by over 500 young adult volunteers.

The Children’s Specialist Support Service (CSSS) is for children affected by family violence and homelessness. It provides assessments, enhanced case management, assertive outreach and group work. It supports children’s emotional and physical wellbeing, and helps improve education developmental outcomes for primary school-aged children.

Working in the transdisciplinary Key Worker model providing assessment and intervention for all children 0-8 with developmental delays and disabilities. Using coaching practices to build parents ‘confidence and competence with their children. Working closely with families to support goals towards communication, swallowing, self-care (sleeping, feeding, dressing etc) and behaviour management. Supporting carers and parents to advocate for themselves and ensure the child's best interest is at the centre of all service provided.

Working with preschool and prep-aged children who require one-on-one assistance. Includes assistance with appropriate social pragmatic skills, effective verbal communication and behaviour management.

Providing weekly speech pathology intervention for patients with aphasia and dysarthria under the guidance of a senior Speech Pathologist.

Triaging patients, answering phone calls, managing a busy environment, communicating with nursing staff, doctors, receptionists and patients.

Managing appointments for Speech Pathologists and Audiologists, gathering case history for new patients, assisting in Auditory Processing Disorders research.
