I work the front desk at the Study Abroad Office. I am the first face that people see when they walk in. I answer any and all questions that they may have and direct them to where they need to be.

As an intern, one of my main responsibilities was assisting Leona in planning and executing a wedding scheduled in October of 2017. I acted as a point of contact for different vendors and lent my thoughts and ideas to Leona and the bride. Additionally, I was the main designer for the website that we operated, ensuring that everything on there was brought up to and remained up to date. I also wrote a number of blog posts, approximately 2 a week, in order to keep Leona's readers in the know. During my time there, I helped increase the number of website viewers and assisted in creating more of a following on social media accounts.

As an events assistant, I was responsible for being the day of contact for all weddings that we had at the cave. I ensured that all questions got answered, that everything was operating smoothly, and that the rules were being enforced and followed for the safety of all guests.

I worked with kids in grades K through 5. We typically had anywhere between 80 to 100 kids on any given day. I was responsible for supervising all of these kids, ensuring that homework got done, safety was kept in big priority, and that everyone had something to do. I was likewise responsible for speaking to the parents of the kids, communicating with them in an effective manner.

I worked at a 4-H summer camp in Summerton, South Carolina for approximately 3 months. While there, I was responsible for supervising around 12 children ranging in age from five to thirteen depending on the week. I would supervise them at all hours of the day, leading them from activity to activity and sleeping in the same cabin as they did. I also became experienced at leading high ropes activities, such as the climbing wall and the vertical playground.

While working as a sales associate at TJ Maxx, I was expected to give exceptional customer service to everyone that walked in the doors. I kept the store clean, operated and balanced the cash registers, and was expected to teach new associates the best methods as they started working.
