Hello! As a rising junior at State College Area High School in Pennsylvania, I strive for opportunities to pursue the areas of business, public policy, and applied math. I have had the opportunity to serve as the founder and executive program director for LEAP, a student-led organization connecting high-school students to insights into different career paths, as well as State College DECA’s Director of Finance and curingwithCARE’s State College Vice President. In all of these roles, I have learned to successfully delegate tasks, creatively improve projects and organizations, and seek opportunities proactively. I am drawn to activities that both challenge my critical thinking and allow me to impact my community in measurable ways. With experience from volunteering at State College’s scientific education nonprofit and our local Chinese School, I'm well versed in managing the logistics of events. This blends with my interest in the business world, which stemmed from my international success in DECA, and has led to me towards numerous business electives (business law, investing, and accounting). I’m looking to expand and explore a management or data-oriented business career, and am set on finding ways to apply my passions in order to make a difference within my community.
