I am a national Open Water Swimmer, recent Neuroscience Graduate from the University of Western Australia and current Research Analyst for Net Zero Energy, Customer Services Officer for City of Stirling and local Triathlon Event Commentator.My own sporting experience is as a National Open Water Swimmer specialising in the 5km, 10km and marathon swimming events, with a background as an Elite U23 Triathlete at both a national and international level. Sport allows me to be bold, ambitious, and tenacious. My highlights include winning the Silver Medal for Australia at the 2018 Triathlon World Championships, in the Female 20-24 Age Group. More recently, I competed in the 20km South32 Rottnest Channel Swim placing 8th in the Champions of the Channel Elite Solo category. I am also a passionate Australian Rules Football, Field Hockey, and die-hard Formula 1 fan. In December 2022, I completed my Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Neuroscience, at the University of Western Australia. I have studied the topics of neuroscience, psychology, anatomy & physiology, molecular biology, biochemistry & sport science. I am particularly interested in research surrounding neurodegenerative diseases and am determined to further my knowledge in the field, so that I can use my understanding to help others in need. My current role as a Research Analyst for Net Zero Energy allows me to independently and efficiently complete projects under firm deadlines, whilst expressing my creative flair. My role involves retrieving current, relevant background information in the field, analysing data and results from previous studies conducted by various Scientific, University and Government Institutions, writing up complete scientific reports and hypothesising the most effective direction in which the company should progress next. I am also confident and well-versed in graphic and website design, marketing, and social media managing. My role as a Customer Services Officer for City of Stirling Recreation Centres involves responsibilities in administration, communications, scheduling, customer liaison, banking, cash handling, product marketing and having a broad understanding of each centre’s products and services for promotion to customers both in person, via email and over the phone. With my sporting and career experience to date, I am flexible, versatile and a fast learner. I have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Ultimately, I endeavour to discover an opportunity that combines my passion for sports, personal growth, travel, and a new challenge.
