About Olivia Smith
This year I have graduated with a 1st in Music Business and Events Management from BIMM Institute. I have previously worked within a mental health team as admin since I was 17 deal with daily tasks or minute taking, answering phone calls, dealing with difficult situations as well as issuing my IT skills on a daily basis. In 2021 I was then employed within the ritz as a box office assistant which I there deal with the public as well as ticketing problems and sales. Also, I have worked part time within a GP practice as a receptionist. This has allowed me to continue to expand on my current existing skills within a different fast pace environment. I also still currently work/volunteer with a local promoter within Manchester who is called We Are Manchester. Within this role I monitor the door, sell tickets, artist liaison, help out at their festival as well as put in my own gigs. CurrentWithin this role I work mainly in the Box Office in O2 Ritz Manchester as well as ticket scanning on the door. Within ticket scanning I greet customers on the door and welcome them into the event. In the Box Office I help customers with ticket issues, sell tickets, find peoples barcodes if they can not find their ticket, greet and issue tickets for guest.
