I have always had a passion for Event Planning that started at a young age, and knew it was a career I wanted to pursue in the future. I have gotten to experience the implementation of weddings from start to finish. I love the hands-on opportunity, and the learning experience that I get from being an assistant wedding planner. I also worked at the Event Management Office for Iowa State University where I planned events for 25 people and under. At that position, I learned the different types of room set-ups, and how to best accommodate to the customers needs and wants. My second semester of my sophomore year of college, I was in a mentorship program where I worked with a mentor in the Events & Hospitality Industry to show me the ins and the outs of this field.
