After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with a minor in Justice, Law, and Public Policy from Wittenberg University in 2021, I began my career in the mental health field at Rocking Horse Community Health Center in Springfield, OH as a case coordinator for those struggling with substance use disorder. I returned to school in 2022 to pursue a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University. I continued working full time at the Rocking Horse Center during this period, and completed my counseling internship at this location, as well as Rocking Horse locations inside of Springfield High School and Springfield High’s School of Innovation between August of 2023 and August of 2024. During this time I worked primarily with children, teens, and young adults ages 8 and up. In August of 2024, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. I have since been providing mental health counseling to clients at the primary Rocking Horse Center location on South Limestone St, in addition to students of Springfield High School’s School of Innovation at the Rocking Horse health clinic located there. I am passionate about serving the community I grew up in by offering treatment and support to those struggling with their mental health.
