Achieving a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy ( M.A., LMFT-A) has enhanced my education, knowledge and development of therapeutic treatment. Applying necessary steps and procedures including ethics, policies and techniques of individual, couple and family treatment, implementing evidenced-based practice. Marriage and Family therapy orientation provides academic and clinical foundation of the family systems model. Specializing in couples and family treatment, I have integrated theory models tailored to couples, families and individuals. I have applied cultural competency to confidently and ethically work with diverse populations. An alumni of Ohio University, I gained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a background enhancing the understanding of human behavior, focusing on the importance of human brain development and function.
