-Enforced pool rules by communicating with patrons, administered first aid when necessary, participated in emergency drills involving CPR and AED skills, monitored pool chemicals and performed chemical tests. -Taught kids from age 3-9 the basics of swimming and water safety. Monitored the progression of swim skills and filled out report cards indicating the child’s improvement over the course of the session. Worked both group lessons and private lessons. -Served as the head supervisor on deck and supervised other lifeguards during shifts. Ran drills that evaluated staff, resolved issues between patrons and staff, lead lifeguard trainings, and communicated with the aquatics coordinator.
