- Led a club of approximately 45 undergraduates, reviving the club after two years off due to Covid- Oversaw travel plans, apparel design, team bonding events, fundraising, and finances as the leader of an entirely student run club - Organized two at home tournaments, events for approximately 500 people, generating approximately $3000 of revenue for the club

-Created a fully functioning portfolio web application from scratch using HTML, Javascript, CSS animations, backend Java Servlets, Google Cloud Datastore, and the Google Maps/Places APIs. -Worked in a team of two other interns and two hosts to create Census Viz, a web application that displays custom data visualizations by pulling data from the Census API and displaying them with amCharts and Google Maps APIs-Designed and implemented a recommendation algorithm to suggest visualizations to the user based on the existing visualizations in their history -Learned the entire development process, including writing design docs, implementation of ideas, and peer reviews. -Attended various tech and leadership talks put on by Google in order to learn more about Google’s culture of success and inclusivity

-Enforced pool rules by communicating with patrons, administered first aid when necessary, participated in emergency drills involving CPR and AED skills, monitored pool chemicals and performed chemical tests. -Taught kids from age 3-9 the basics of swimming and water safety. Monitored the progression of swim skills and filled out report cards indicating the child’s improvement over the course of the session. Worked both group lessons and private lessons. -Served as the head supervisor on deck and supervised other lifeguards during shifts. Ran drills that evaluated staff, resolved issues between patrons and staff, lead lifeguard trainings, and communicated with the aquatics coordinator.

-One of 300 students selected from 2,000+ applicants to attend Google’s programming institute. Learned web app development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Google AppEngine from Google engineers. -Designed and coded Workforce, an interactive resume building application that allows users to submit their resume and gain feedback through Python and the Google Natural Language API. -Application identified good action words, returned the sentiment of the document based on positive and negative words, and identified the work category the resume referred to.
