I graduated with my Bachelor's degree from Lebanon Valley College in Sociology with a concentration in family studies in 2017. I am now currently enrolled in Lebanon Valley’s Master program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am on track to graduate in December of 2024 after the completion of my internship. I have acquired additional skill sets that will help me stand out from others. During my past and present jobs, I have strengthened my ability to be empathetic, sympathetic, patient, personable, passionate in the field, and demonstrate flexibility due to fast-paced work environments.I worked at Philhaven Day Hospital through Wellspan as a Psychiatric Technician. I have experience working with children and adolescents ages 5-18 when working as a Psychiatric Technician. I learned how to prepare and teach group therapy/individual sessions, create treatment plans, outreach to schools and was in contact with my clients’ families. I also learned how to act fast and effective during crisis situations. My current career as a Service Coordinator has given me experience with maintaining high caseloads of 75+ individuals over the age of 18 that are diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and other diagnoses. I currently conduct monthly contacts/home visits to ensure safety and well being of each client, clinical writing for annual/trigger assessments and care plans, and communicates with health care provides and insurance to authorize services and provide accommodations.
