Currently I work part time as a Nanny for three children between the ages or 1 and 4. Working as a nanny I wear many hats all day! Including educator, chef, events co-ordinator, counsellor, disputes mediator, taxi and comforter! I also volunteer on the leadership team at Alive Church Newark overseeing the pastoral care we provide to the church members. I oversee a team of 18 people including a part-time staff member. I create and lead training for my team members as well as proving one to one support with those who are struggling in different areas,

The LCAS Project supports people in crisis situations across Lincolnshire with emergency care. In my role I carried out needs assessments, and working with local charities and the local council co-ordinated practical support. I worked closely with the Trussell Trust Foodbanks in Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Co-ops, Restore Furniture and Lincolnshire County Council.

As Promotions Executive at the Advertiser Media Group my role was to promote the newspapers we published and other services the company provided. The role was also very community minded, looking at ways we could have a positive impact on Newark and the surrounding areas and engaging in community activities. I organised, promoted and marketed events, such as The Advertiser Wedding Fair and worked in conjunction with the local authority and higher education providers to run Future First, a 'next steps' fair aimed at school leavers.

I hold responsibility for community engagement and volunteering, creating, leading and delivering campaigns around student welfare. As a member of the Board of Trustees I work to the best interest of the charity taking into consideration both financial and legal risk.
