88&Half was established in 2012 by Olivia and Grace Williams. The sisters are both recent graduates in the art field. Olivia exhibited her final collection at London Graduate Fashion week, where the feedback was positive and motivating, giving her the confidence to embark on her own venture.The design, creativity and production aspect is solely driven by Olivia. Having a background in finance and accounting Grace offers her knowledge and skill set to the other side of the business. Together this has created a successful and dynamic collaboration resulting in 88&Half.The brand saw its first success at a selection of local fairs in the surrounding areas of Surrey and London. Exhibiting at The Country living Fair, London was one of many successes that the brand witnessed in 2012.The combination of luxury sheepskin, fashion forward designs and british led manufacturing captured the attention of the public. “Proud to be British” The brand is now looking to expand further into Boutiques and shops who maybe interested in their brand and collection of the season. Our products are designed and made in England. The sheepskin we source is a bi-product of the meat industry and therefore we can guarantee that our products have no connections with the killing of animals for their skin. As young entrepreneurs the girls were keen to establish their brand and promote the talented graduates of 2012.

-Trend research and development-Sourcing trims and fastenings-Working on press encouraged me to approach and converse with many senior employees working on magazines in the fashion styling industry. I was pleased to have secured articles in Asos magazine, the Metro and the Sun. Articles that were featured in “Easy Living”,” Look” and “Living South”. Conversing with stylists and many high senior fashion employees was a challenge.-Designing and putting together technical packs to be sent to the manufacturers-Envolved in fashion shoots for look books-Exhibiting at trade shows such as London Fashion Week and Pure-Customising accessories and garments-Supporting the two designers-Producing shop reports and trend feedback
