I am an enthusiastic and creative English literature and psychology graduate, committed to growing in and learning about the publishing industry. My interest in publishing is fed by my passion for writing and storytelling. I have a profound appreciation of the way stories can affect us, and of all the forms a book can take - a friend, a mirror, a revolutionary, a teacher, an inspiration. Though I'm new to the industry, I have experience as an editor in a school newspaper and in working with writers on various writing courses. I am a member of Word Tonic - a large, international learning/connecting platform for Gen Z writers and copywriters, as well as a member of the Society of Young Publishers, which has been instrumental in developing my understanding of the industry. Aside from writing, I am also a singer-songwriter with two released albums, currently working on a single. I'm currently exploring freelance writing and seeking opportunities to grow in the world of publishing.
