Representing the Neuroscience course at university open days and events Using my passion for the subject to promote the university to prospective students

Worked as part of a small, multi-disciplinary group of students over 6 weeks in the spring term on an extracurricular project for Women in Tandem, as a part of the Nottingham Consultancy Challenge. The challenge stimulates a consultancy experience for a group of students working with a real-life business to provide recommendations on issues such as generating income. I collaborated with my peers to deliver a live presentation and report to our client at the end of the programme, and received feedback on how well we had met the brief.

Customer-based experience, developing effective and empathetic interpersonal skills.Involved leading and working as a team, taking orders and organising other members of staff to ensure the smooth running of a busy pub/restaurant. Effective multitasking was of importance to a smooth and efficient service. Dealing with high volumes of customers each with unique requests has resulted in refined communication skills allowing the resolution of customer problems or complaints in a professional yet patient and empathetic manner.
