Works closely with the CEO and Board of Dirctors in the startup phase of Blueberry River Resources Ltd, a Blueberry River First Nations company developed for Economic Development with a focus on sustainability in the areas of Restoration, Lands, Wildlife, and Culture.Responsible for development, implementation and overall oversight and support of key operational areas within the organization, which include developing and managing Human Resources, Financial Administration, IT Support, Health and Safety, Marketing and Communications, Facility Management and Procurement. Additionally, play a key role in contributing to strategic planning to ensure compliance with regulations, facilitate internal communication, and coordinate various projects.

Worked with a team of HR professionals/experts/specialists to develop and implement HR policies and programs including recruitment, total compensation, performance management, employee growth and performance, succession planning, training and health and wellness. Responsibilities also included compliance, labour relations, and the effective management of employee information, analytics and reporting systems. Through teamwork and empowerment of direct reports, delivered HR programs and services that sustained the culture of the organization and aligned with corporate strategies. Championed professional HR practices across the organization, building solid relationships with employees while actively engaging and fostering employee engagement. As a member of the Senior Management Team, took an innovative approach; making impactful contributions towards fostering a positive productive work environment that leaves employees feeling engaged, empowered and equipped for success. Additionally, was responsible for WCB and facilities, ensuring the maintenance, safety and security of all locations is effective and well managed.
