After graduating with a Bachelor of Design in 2023, I decided to take some time to continue my passion for the kitchen with my position as a chef at Electric Diner in Hamilton. After being in this position for several months I was promoted to supervisor and subsequently to assistant kitchen manager five months later. The job of a line cook is not easy work, and I have learned from my years of experience. The kitchen teaches you patience, hard work, perseverance, and the importance of a team. I take all of these qualities with me throughout life. As I continue my work in the kitchen, I am always looking for interesting opportunities to break into UX that sound exciting and meaningful, where I can utilize the skills learned from my studies.
