Hi, I'm Olivia! The first thing you should know about me – I believe that transferrable skills are the foundation of any successful career. A professor at university once told me, "Look at every new opportunity as a tool to add to your life toolbelt." I have lived by that philosophy, which has led me to pursue a variety of professional experiences since graduating in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies and Community Development.I have learned the value of teamwork and customer communication at serving jobs in the food industry, and cross-cultural communication as a program manager for international students. I utilized my passion for education and equipping youth as an English teacher in Spain, as well as a program coordinator for youth programs. One of my foundational career-building blocks was working for nonprofits that served both youth and adults, particularly working with empowerment and educational programs that served diverse groups. I am currently using my passion for storytelling, branding, and marketing in my position as a marketing associate in the travel industry. I contribute to creating and delivering engaging content and campaigns that connect with travel advisors worldwide. I also manage social media for a travel publication.I feel like I have done so many tasks and taken on a variety of roles, I can't even begin to list all of the skills that I have.
