When I was 18 y/o I was not sure what I wanted to become. Following my instinct, I decided to get a Bachelor Degree on English Language and Literature, which was mainly dedicated towards teaching English language. On November 2017, I received an offer that would completely change my path. I moved to Lisbon, Portugal, two weeks after of passing the interview. I arrived there with a suitcase full of dreams and fears, not knowing what would come next. I started working as a Customer Support Representative. There, I was able to develop myself on different competences such as learning about Facebook ads platform, being multitasking, getting used to work with KPIs, pursuiting outstanding customer support and challenging myself to change, adapting myself to any outcome. After one year and a half, I started to become ambitious and to think that I could achieve more. Thus, I decided to apply for a Supervisor position. After being a referent for my team and helping them to success with their clients, they decided to gave me the opportunity and I became Supervisor of the Spanish Team. On a professional level: yes, I learnt about reporting data, coaching and mentoring, ensuring the good performance on a fast-paced company and all that stuff that you may already know. But, on a personal level, I gained much more:I listened to them carefully without judging when they opened themselves to meI became myself IT, psychologist and even a doctor when they need it I developed them to success on their personal goals I empathized with each one of themI learnt how to solve conflicts and took important decisions I decided to be a leader, not a bossSo now, I am seeking for new opportunities where I will be able to put into practice all my knowledge, adding more value by learning new things and continuing growing as a leader.
