Mission Met is a strategic planning company that serves nonprofit organizations; therefore, during my internship there, I gathered a lot of knowledge about consulting services and the nonprofit industry. I was Mission Met's first marketing intern, so I partook in a large range of marketing activities, including marketing strategy, content creation, social media management, and much more. One activity that I engaged in involved communicating with the target audience via Facebook and LinkedIn, which led to 200+ new followers. I also collaborated in writing approximately two dozen blog posts with accompanying newsletters and social posts for our nearly 2,000 people subscriber base. Due to the small business structure, I learned a plethora of new skills at Mission Met. This internship has allowed me to explore some of creative outlets (like the video I conceived below) and engage with my colleagues to navigate, delegate, and execute our marketing objectives.

Maria Stein, Ohio

The Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics is a religious sanctuary that provides religious services, a local history museum, and a giftshop.My role at the Shrine was to take video recording of various different events and create video promotions to increase viewership on social media platforms. In addition, I collaborated with several staff members in order to brainstorm marketing promotions and execute these promotions. One particular project that I did was a YouTube video to promote self-guided tours at the museum. I recorded all footage in the video and then edited it. When posted to the company YouTube and Facebook page, in generated several hundred more views. Below is the link to that video.
