About Olivia Ferguson

I am a second year PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I focus on implementation science and costing for behavioral health interventions within a global context. My research interests include structural drivers of disease, life course theories, social cohesion theories, adolescent health, and measurements of access to services. Alongside this research focus, I have experience working with implementing partners, including PSI and FHI360, on the implementation of interventions spanning disease areas including COVID-19, HIV, and SRH/family planning. I am especially passionate about the interplay between implementation and research for donor-funded interventions. I hold an MSc in Public Health, Health Economics, from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BA in Economics & History from Villanova University.
