• Instruct 3rd Grade curriculum, designing and developing programs to meet the academic, intellectual, and social needs of students.• Instruct ELA, Math in Hi- and Low- level phases, Science, Social Studies, and Moral Focus. • Assess student’s performance through anecdotal records, student-teacher conferences, peer evaluation, checklists, and student portfolios.• Supported a balanced reading program through the implementations of writing and reading workshops.• Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible.

• Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, and social development.• Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.• Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate.• Instruct students individually and in groups, using workshops.• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.

• Assist teacher in individual and group instruction in various academic subjects for remediation and enrichment• Correct, grade, and record tests, assignments, and homework papers• Prepare/design instructional exercises and materials• Assist in supervising students to maintain effective learning environment, noting behavioral problems observed and applying approved disciplinary procedures
