Research Associate in Sustainable Dairy Production at Cornell University, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.I have a PhD in sustainable livestock development with experience working in diverse locations and cultures. I have consulted on sustainability issues relating to both arable and livestock agriculture of global supply chains to find environmental, economic, and productivity solutions while optimising animal health and welfare. I am currently a Research Associate at Cornell University funded by Chobani. I actively engage with dairy farmers across New York State to assess the available tools for measuring, monitoring, reporting and identifying dairy sustainability key performance indicators (KPIs) for opportunities to improve dairy farm efficiency, profitability, and environmental impact. My specific interest is the interaction of nutrient management practices with greenhouse gas emissions, biodiversity, and other drivers of sustainability at the whole-farm level. In addition to research and extension work, I mentor and provide training to both graduate and undergraduate students in agricultural sustainability, research methods, data analysis and professional development.Nutrient Mass Balance • Greenhouse Gas Emissions • Farm System Models • Resource Use • Circular Economy • Resilient Agriculture • Financial ViabilityExtension • Knowledge Exchange • Stakeholder EngagementResearch • Data Analysis • Report WritingCool Farm Tool • Adobe Products • R • Python • VBA • SQLModelling • Programming • Statistics HTML • CSS • SEOInfographics • Web-based Dashboards • Workshops
