In this position I organized the Network's Financialization project, a long-term research and advocacy effort centered around examining the influence of financial institutions and financial thinking on college and university campuses across the country. In my work, I explored annual financial reports, gathered data on university investment in financial instruments like interest rate swaps and hedge funds, and compiled that data in order to discover long-term trends. Much of my role centered around facilitating the research of individual chapters, filling in gaps, providing guidance, and helping to form advocacy campaigns around their findings.Successfully accomplishing this required working alongside national staff members to make long-term plans for the project, preparing and presenting training materials, and holding regular conference calls and in-person meetings with student research teams. Much of this work was remote, and made use of conference calls, Google Drive, Slack, and a number of other digital office tools to facilitate collaboration across space.

As the Economic Policy Coordinator for the Roosevelt Network, I was responsible for coordinating the economic policy work of a national network of student activists. In my role, I focused on helping shape student policy proposals from ideas to actionable policy projects. This work included editing student submissions to 10 Ideas, the network's yearly policy journal, holding frequent check-in calls with teams working on campuses across the country, and conducting research and other policy work as necessary to support student projects.

At Sparty's, I was responsible for filing, analyzing, and reporting on all information related to our current and incoming products, pricing, and weekly sales numbers, as well as longer-term reporting on things like year-over-year growth. As part of those duties, I was required to maintain an extensive Microsoft Access database of information about products, automate the filing of weekly reports with Python scripting, and notify our team of relevant pricing changes over email.
