Born and raised in Rochester, New York, I followed two of my passions as I made the move down to Tampa, Florida. Education and the warm weather. I am a passionate, hard worker who is consistent, organized and patient. I am currently teaching first grade in the Tampa Bay area. I chose the path of education because of the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of so many diverse individuals throughout my career. As a student teacher, I developed relationships at my assigned school that allowed me to get my first teaching job, and begin my career. Now, I am in my third year teaching. I have taken on the team leader position for both first grade and second grade which has allowed me to strengthen my leadership skills. When I am not working, I am by the ocean, hanging with my dog, or cooking.
