I managed HR operations and supported strategic initiatives for a team of 60-90 (across corporate operations, sales, retail, and hospitality teams). I focused on continuous improvement of recruiting and onboarding processes, managed pay and benefits, and maintained the HR tech stack. Project highlights included implementing the organization's first leave management tool, presenting at a staff lunch and learn, and conducting a comprehensive compensation market analysis.

I oversaw HR operations and strategic initiatives for a dynamic distributed team of communicators committed to social and racial justice. I focused on updating systems, processes, and tools. Leveraging problem-solving and relationship-building skills across the agency, I implemented a new HRIS (Rippling), transitioned the team to a new ATS (Greenhouse), managed a high-volume of hiring and onboarding, and provided counsel to staff and managers.

I managed HR functions for a creative nonprofit staff (18 year-round staff and 100 seasonal), with a focus on hiring, onboarding, benefit and leave administration, and employee relations. Through responsibility for daily HR operations and wrangling the collaborative processes required to hire and retain dedicated staff, I developed and improved systems, operationalized the organization's equity lens, and supported supervisors and teams. BIPOC colleagues were patient, incisive, supportive, and profoundly honest as I developed a deeper, more impactful commitment to anti-racism in nonprofits.

Through committed mentorship from managers and trainings at the intersection of HR and racial equity work, I took on progressive responsibility across our operations.
