I am a passionate environmentalist interested in the anthropological side of environmental science with a focus on environmental health and people! I relate my studies to my passions and am continuing to learn more about my interests. I studied abroad with SIT: Environmental Action and Sustainability in Australia and had a 5-week full-time internship with a non-profit food sovereignty company, Sustain. I am inspired to devote my time to environmental health issues, climate change, justice and equity issues, and adverse environmental effects on certain groups. With years of experience in management, academic and internship positions I have learned my strengths and have worked through any weaknesses I may have. I really enjoy exploring, the environment, traveling, helping others, being outside, and meeting new people in my free time!
