I recently graduated from Western University where I completed a Master’s of Science in Health Promotion. I am currently seeking new opportunities in public and community health with an interest in health education and research. My passions include child and youth health, health promotion initiatives, and student experiences in higher education. As a graduate student, my thesis focused on the health and wellbeing of university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. I gained experience as a Research Assistant where I conducted literature reviews, assisted in data collection, and analyzed findings using statistical software programming. During my years at university, I also worked and volunteered with various organizations which allowed me to take the skills I learned in school and apply them to different community settings. I have always enjoyed working with children and youth so I have often sought out opportunities where I could work with younger populations and empower them to lead healthier lifestyles. As a past member of the Black Professional & Graduate Student's Network at Western University, I support diversity in education and am a strong advocate for inclusivity in the educational system as well as the broader community.
