Between my professional and academic training, I have accumulated countless skills in the fields of microbiology, molecular genetics, and food/environmental microbiology.At my previous position as a microbiological analyst, I regularly practiced aseptic technique, many different types of PCR, bacterial culturing, food/supplement/environmental testing, and general laboratory management and workflow. I am also familiar with microbial testing methods as per the USDA, FDA, and AOAC, cGMP and GLP, as well as ISO 17025. I previously worked as a senior diagnostic laboratory technician for Sphere Diagnostics and as a graduate research assistant for the University of Kentucky. In 2021, I completed a Masters of Medical Science at the University of Kentucky. I earned a GPA of 3.6In 2019, I graduated from the College of Coastal Georgia, earning a BS in biochemistry and general chemistry. My GPA was 3.7. I was named to the CCGA Dean's list (GPA 3.5-3.99) four times and the President's list (GPA 4.0) once.
