*Served as Price / Cost Analyst in support of the Divisional Administrative Contracting Officer (DACO) from 2009-2012.*Completed DCMA’s development program for new hires (“the Keystone Program”) which provided various rotational and learning opportunities including 12 weeks of contract administration / contract closeout “boot camp” during which I applied the knowledge and skills learned to close over 40 contracts.*Conducted in-depth analysis of proposals and elements of proposals for various contract types (including fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, incentive, time and material, and labor hour) to evaluate the reasonableness of proposed contract costs and prices with independence regarding the accomplishment of the analysis and the techniques employed. Analysis techniques included trend analysis, regression analysis, application of various economic forecasting theories including learning curves for efficiencies in production for future accounting periods, and theories related to life-cycle-cost, random sampling, cost estimating, cost tradeoffs, cost benefit analysis, breakeven analysis, and business case analysis, as well as analysis of the allowability, allocability, and reasonableness of costs. *Requested and coordinated meetings, audits, and other assignments with customers, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit personnel, and other United States Government (USG) technical personnel and specialists (including engineers and industrial specialists); reviewed audit and technical reports and validated analysis / findings impacting contract actions and status of contractor business systems / cost accounting standards. *Analyzed subcontract proposals in cases where prime contractor was denied access to books and records.*Provided support to buying commands in the evaluation / negotiation of various contract price proposals / contract actions. Participated on source selection panel.
