A 90-hour Internship research project to assist the Australian Greens with their campaign of ending ableist employment practices including their policy to transition away from segregated employment for disabled people and end to assisted disability centres by 2030. My work centred around a review of other countries transitions to closure of ADE’s; a review of the status quo in Australia including barriers to and opportunities with the closure of ADE’s industries. I provided recommendations for Jordan Steele John’s future communication, policy development and research. I then presented my findings to the Australian Greens for them to use in their future planning and research.
