My name is Olivia Wright and I am a recent graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology. I am a driven and passionate young woman aspiring to pursue a legal education to continue on a path toward legal advocacy.My various volunteer experiences exemplify my commitment to making a meaningful impact, not only within, but outside the classroom setting. I am extremely grateful for my time in TMU Women in Law where I engaged in collaborative efforts to advocate for diversity and inclusivity in the legal profession. As well as my time in Toronto Metmun and Innocence TMU where I developed a deeper understanding of the law's ability to empower, shape, and influence the lives of others. I have continued to strive toward meaningul career opportunities to shape my perceptions and understandings of the world through various work experiences. I have held positions in federal law enforcement, the financial sector, restaurant industry, and more. The critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills I have acquired through my work, extracurricular, and academic experiences have made me extremely resilient, adaptable, and confident in my leadership abilities.
