Most of my work includes collecting, capturing, and creating content for social media by collaborating with all of our teams (Education, Nursery, Conservation, Events, Agriculture). There is such a wide breadth of expertise and ongoing projects at Oxbow it is full of exciting opportunities to document and share the work that everyone is doing from trialling dry farming to tackle water usage to experimenting with assisted tree migration to get ahead of the warming climate. Beyond social media I work on a team of three to manage the website, newsletters, blogs, and facilitate internal communications to keep everyone informed on the latest work going on at Oxbow.I am passionate about growing education surrounding the intersection of farming and ecosystem health and how they can support one another. Along with that I aim to empower the community to make personal changes in their own gardening and landscaping practices as well as supporting local makers and growers that are being conscience and thoughtful of their impact on their environment.

The pandemic posed challenges to the rep and event world, but our team chose to take it as an opportunity to invest in building out a truly robust online training platform. I led the creation, editing, and distribution of this campaign over three seasons. Beyond this project I also hosted demos and attended events to educate customers on our unique product features. My main tasks centered around keeping our brands top of mind. I accomplished this by using a marketing plan which established a regular cadence for communications and allowed me to tailor our stories to different channels.
