My entry into HR was a happy accident over 16 years ago, and I quickly found that it balanced my often opposing interest in law and the employee experience. I learned HR through trial and error, managing the HR and Payroll in a resort setting. Wanting to experience HR on a more defined scale, I moved to Mammoth Hospital in 2007. During my time with this employer I worked as a HR Generalist, Benefits Specialist, and as a Senior HR Generalist, acting as a Business Partner to clinical and non-clinical areas, managing all benefits programs, guiding on policy and practice, conducting employee investigations, driving change and employee engagement initiatives. In 2020, I accepted a new role with Samaritan Health Services at Albany General Hospital, working as a Senior HR Business Partner. I supported both Employee and Labor relations. Since 2023 I've focused primarily on Labor Relations as the Labor Relations Business Partner for Samaritan.
