Published the sci-fi/fantasy short stories "Honeysuckle Tea" and "Mr. Gilgamesh, Sir." Currently working on a fiction novella, "How to Ruin A Wedding."

Judge for the Writer's Workout Writer's Games where authors of all skill levels and backgrounds submit their short stories written during the games to win. Winners are slotted to be published in a volume of work.

This semester, I am excited to participate in helping to set up the Undergraduate Research Writing Conference, which will be held on April 2nd at Livingston Student Center. Undergraduates will present their research on topics from a range of fields, from medicine to social issues. My tasks involve examining submitted papers to determine which students will be accepted to participate, and help organize and promote the conference.

Learned the ins and outs of book and author publicity and marketing, from event planning to pitch writing to using social media as a promotional tool.
