Motivation and communication style of leadership. My name is Olivia Poulin, and I am a 1st-year student at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington, I am currently pursuing a degree in Finance. Towards the end of my high school career, I became a manager at my job. My experiences with managing my crew and store helped me develop skills in teamwork, organization, motivation, problem-solving, and management. After growing up in Northwest Indiana, I decided I wanted to continue my education at one of the best business schools in the country to gain a degree in business. I am strongly grounded by my moral compass, ethical principles, and desire for effective communication. My values, skills, and interests around appreciation, trust, passion, accountability, and communication can complement organizations that are looking for individuals who align with a shared vision and focus on total stakeholder return. My short-term goals are to gain valuable knowledge and experiences within my time here at Indiana University that will diversify my exposure to individuals, groups, and disciplines. My long-term goal after I graduate college is to add value to an organization that embraces passion, and development for their employees.
