I produce research for Superintendents and other cabinet-level leaders at public school districts across the U.S. to navigate their most pressing challenges such as reopening schools during the COVID-19 crisis and recession-proofing budgets given current economic challenges. I also facilitate conversations with district leaders across these areas and provide them with targeted solutions. Most recently, I designed a research-backed strategy any school district can implement to improve teacher morale. I also wrote a curriculum and facilitated a yearlong experience for 50+ school districts across the country to guide the successful implementation of this process.

Lead and manage a team of 11 researchers that serves a crucial and strategic function of the firm to field and respond to thousands of client inquiries annually across multiple subject areas in both higher education and K12 education.

Project Management Address a high volume of short-turnaround requests across nine research forums and directly manage 4 Research Associates (RAs) in fulfilling ~350 inquiries per month. Lead scoping calls with requesting clients for more than 30 on-demand projects, tailoring client requests to align with EAB research methodology. Serve as main point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of a project and ensure quality of project maintains high standards and provides client value.Staff ManagementCommit to development of early-career RAs through coaching on professionalism, higher education content, and research skills. Build pipeline of talent through conducting candidate interviews, identifying opportunities for improvement in current RAs, locating “stretch roles” across the firm, and providing pre-interview coaching for RAs. Directly manage the onboarding, growth, productivity, and performance of a team of 4 RAs. Deliver detailed feedback and edits to RAs throughout primary and secondary research projects. Received department-wide excellence in management award.Team Leadership and Strategic Improvements Identify key contacts in other departments across EAB to foster connectedness and collaboration to enhance member service. Led revision of the RA performance grid to ensure consistency and clarity. Designed and led two internship cohorts that resulted in hiring three new RAs. Propose and create new-format, team-wide trainings that foster active learning and engagement.
