Federal grant goals include school desegregation and STEAM integration via the 5 pillars of Diversity, Innovative Curriculum and Professional Development, Academic Excellence, Leadership, and Family and Community Partnerships. Partner with the MNPS STEAM department to lead virtual “STEAM Expeditions,” including a problem-based learning project with the engineering department of Lipscomb University.• Serve as the FIRST® Program Manager, introducing Lego League STEAM programs into elementary grades. Integrate core values, such as innovation and impact, into weekly meetings. • Work cross-functionally with Grant Solutions, the National Institute for Magnet School Leadership, and the district office to create a STEAM sustainability plan and apply for a no-cost grant extension.
