This involves supporting The University of Manchester’s Faculty of Science and Engineering through campus-based and online activities for offer-holders and prospective students. This can be through campus tours, talks and general advice. It also entails communication with members of staff within the faculty.

My responsibilities involved working on tills, dealing with deliveries, replenishing, tidying, and reducing stock, communicating with customers and co-workers, and preparing food collections for customers. I also supervised other employees while on tills, authorizing age restricted products as well as helping to cash up at the end of shifts. I have also been front of house trained in the café, involving preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, understanding, and practicing food hygiene skills such as date checking, rotation, and labelling, as well as giving customer service in a hospitality environment.

While working for Gap outlet in Gloucester Quays, my responsibilities included working on tills, helping and communicating with customers and coworkers, dealing with deliveries and tidying stock.
