Oceans Resort & Spa is located in beautiful Hervey Bay opposite the iconic Urangan Pier and at the doorstep of World Listed Heritage Fraser Island. I became part of the Ownership & Management Team of Oceans (formally Peppers Pier Resort) on 1st May 2014 where we took over the Management Rights and re-branded the Resort. I love working in Hospitality and enjoy interacting with all vested Stakeholders from guests, owners, staff, local businesses. I feel my background experience in various communication type roles and also studying a degree in Business has equipped me with a great deal of confidence in dealing with various situations and finding solutions to problems.In brief some of the areas that were focused on, changed and improved: Implemented new business name Improved Management confidence within the team, building with Owners and Body CorporateImproved processes and proceduresIncreased units within the holiday letting poolIncreased occupancy and average daily rateBuilt a successful events team and utilised a commercial kitchen that was sitting stagnant for many years.
